Native to southern India, this revered spice has been valued for centuries not only for its ability to enhance the flavor of food but also for its various traditional wellness applications. doTERRA ensures sustainable sourcing of this spice, collaborating with local farmers to guarantee the purity and potency of the oil, thus maintaining the inherent properties of the plant.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between this oil and ground pepper used for cooking?
Black Pepper essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of peppercorns, concentrating its volatile compounds. While it shares the aroma and some properties with the culinary spice, the oil is much more potent and should not be used in the same quantities or in the same way as ground pepper.
Can it be applied directly to the skin without dilution?
It is not recommended. Due to its potency, Black Pepper oil may cause skin sensitivity if applied undiluted. It is always advisable to mix it with a carrier oil like fractionated coconut oil before topical application to avoid potential irritation.
What other essential oils does Black Pepper blend well with?
It blends very well with citrus oils (Wild Orange, Lemon), woody oils (Cedarwood, Sandalwood), and other spicy oils (Ginger, Clove). It can also complement some floral oils like Lavender or Geranium to create balanced and complex blends.
What is the best way to store the oil to extend its shelf life?
To maintain the integrity and potency of Black Pepper essential oil, you should store it in a cool, dark place, in its original amber glass container, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Make sure the cap is tightly closed to prevent oxidation.

Excellent Quality
Excellent quality. Natural black pepper scent. I purchased it to put in a special blend with other essential oils. I also use it in tea light candles.
Black pepper
I use it for pain with CBD salve. I really don't have anything else to say about it.
Goody
Lovely scent, of natural composition, soothing essential oil that improves blood circulation, with very good chemical constituents that benefit a lot of circumstances. Simple packaging, just the size I prefer, 15 ml, good quality stuff. Makes one feel grounded and soothed on using, guess it’s right for all ages. I will no doubt repurchase for its value for money!
Прекрасно!
Quality is super! The ingredients are great! Size arranged! What you need! Performance is felt! the product arranged, perfectly packed, the effect is definitely there! I will order more! Just as quickly delivered
Good choice
very good price point and quality. scent and taste good strength. using as a quit smoking aid. one tiny drop on roof of mouth, stimulates receptors the way nicotine does, and will cause your cigarettes to taste bad also so you won't want them. got this tip from my aunt who sells doterra, but or aura cacia bran is a much better value overall, and specially here aiherb with their pricing.
Labeled stickers
Labels where even named for different oils. Very nice!
Not the best
The sticker quality is fine. The colors are all really odd though. Some of the oils have like 5 different color options but other oils only have one color option. There’s a lot of stickers that just have random “positive” words on them too, they might be oil blends but I’ve never heard of them. Better off buying the stickers that match YG or DoTerra brands.
Nice for my essential oils
Very nice to be able to label my essential oils. Use a permanent fine black pen. Stays on hasn’t smeared yet.
