The roll on bottle is nice for applying when you don't want oil on your hands
I am not what I would call an 'essential oil user' in that I don't use them for homeopathic reasons or for anything curative. I normally just use them for the scent in air fresheners, etc. The package also included a coupon for a discount off of a future order and a very small free samples of another scent. The free sample and discount code were nice touches and the sample smells wonderful. This 'Best Skin Ever' essential oil blend does have a very nice scent. I know there is more to it, but I mostly smell cedar and patchouli. It has a masculine smell to me, due to the cedar. I have used it several times on my hands and elbows as they get very dry this time of year. It makes my skin feel good, without being slippery or slimy. My teen daughter also struggles with dry skin on the backs of her hands and wrists during this time of year. She has used other skin creams, oils, and lotions for this over the years. I previously ordered this oil in the regular style bottle, but decided to try the roll on instead and we both agreed that we prefer the roll on for application because it seems easier to control.

Great for diffusion/aromatherapy, lacking on 'best skin ever'
I like this brand and like most of the smell combinations they come up with but I'm a skeptic on their 'claims' (e.g. best skin ever, insomnia aid, etc). I do have dry skin around the T-Zone of my face along with my cheeks and sometimes get flakes. I got this essential oil blend mostly to use for my diffuser (I remove the roller) but I thought it would be interesting to test their skin claim. Did it work? No, but yes. It worked in the sense that rubbing this on the dry parts of my face made it less dry but that because I was literally putting oils on dry skin. Naturally that'll help the dry skin temporarily but its not a permanent fix and that didn't always work (for me anyways). I was an still am a skeptic on all these essential oil claims but they sure do smell nice and I love putting them in diffusers to make my home smell good. I would recommend this on smell alone but everyone has their own tastes in smell. I just finished my bottle and I would but again but without the roller since I just want it for my diffusers.

How is something in such a little bottle so heavenly for my skin AND smells that good?! This stuff has done miracles for my dry, irritated and itchy skin this winter! I turn red in the cold or after exercising, and I've been applying this to my cheeks before a workout and before I leave the house as an extra barrier to the cold, and wow...my face looks so much smoother and less red! It's incredible. And the scent?! This roller is incredible. I roll it on my wrists and behind my ears just so I can smell it throughout the day! It's such a great value for a product that is so effective at doing what it claims! I couldn't be happier!
My Favorite Fragrance from this brand
This scent, Best Skin Ever, actually translates to 'best fragrance ever' to me! This is an amazing combination of ingredients. I'm impressed by the price point when it includes the oh-so-expensive rose absolute in addition to frankincense and cedarwood. Lavender, a gentle touch of patchouli, and palmarosa rounds out this blend to be nothing short of perfection. 10 stars!!! Absolutely dreamy! I like that this is ready-to-use on the skin, properly diluted in coconut oil. I have rosacea, and I can take this with me and apply it when I feel my skin reacting poorly. For those who have rosacea, you may know that this happens in days that end in Y, when one drinks coffee, tea, exercises, goes out in the sun, you name it. Ha! What I appreciate about this brand so far: I like that it’s a vegan, organic source of essential oils produced for a NON-multi-level-marketing company. The company’s website shows a transparency and a commitment to good ethics, which is important. They don’t advise ingesting essential oils, gratefully. Just a note: be cautious about using a diffuser if you have pets. There aren’t any safe essential oils for cats, and there is only a small list of safe oils for dogs. Many are toxic for pets, and you can actually injure or even kill your fur baby if you diffuse the wrong oils around them. You can see the packaging in the photo: the package came with a sturdy brochure in bubble wrap that was then packaged in a prime bubble wrap mailer, so was safe in transit with the glass container. As a bonus, I love that this oil came with a little sample of another blend to try. I’m a sucker for samples. This product is highly recommended!
Would not buy again
This smells like a household cleaner. Not sure if it's old, but it smells and feels like I'm putting chemicals on my face. I have used this product before (purchased directly from YL) and it was not like this.
